Well can you really share ideas about Motherload yet? I suggest we just not post much here yet until the beta testers have their run and share what they think (if they can)...

I'll do my best, though. Typed from the news update section about the most recent update... or whatever:

"... This update introduces the variety of highly valuable minerals and baubles buried beneath the surface. There are 10 collectables in all, not including some surprises we'll leave you to discover on your own...."

also which each mineral u get, u get cash for it. and with that u can buy better equipment for more efficient digging. there are several areas to upgrade equipement(hull, engine, cooling, ect..)

and the deeper u go, the better the mineral u find, but the hotter it is. (better get better cooling early eh).

I'm sure it will get at least a 4 on newgrounds... Probably be in the top weekly also. But yeah, playing it, well, let's just say I've already got it planned on my schedule! :P

I think that it'll be at least a five, unless some jerk wants to complain about it. Yeah it's kind of like Defend your Castle, except you buy upgrades to play better and there's more interactivity than DYC and I think it'll be alot longer and alot more addicting.

Atually I belive the point is to 'find the motherload' but I'm unsure as to what that means... (probably is the same as making loads of money)

duh didnt u guys read the story syke posted the goal is to get to the center of mars and mine out some super expensive minerals for a company then u win... u prolly need all the upgrades to get there.... im guessing engine, digger, weapons for those pesky martians, armor, fuel tanks, storage tanks, and more prolly

Sorry Skye I have a really short attention span... what was I talking about again?... nah Just kidding but a game with only mining would get a little boring unless the map always changed and the map was really big. And there was stuff to blow up... That usually sells me on a game...

You haven't exactly played it yet(unless you're a beta tester which I doubt because you have 3 posts). You have know idea what the game is about besides the fact that you mine. Don't judge the game before you've played it. ;)

Yeah, if you have seen the preview, which is really funny like DFYC, you would have seen explosions action, and well Motherload :).

They're ironing out the last few bugs. I dont know when it'll be out, but Im sure its with in a week or two.
I REALLY doubt it will take longer than that.
