Just write down random notes in any random rhythm that works.

I'm sorry, but that is the most stupid music-writing method that I've ever heard. Don't listen to him.

Heh...
Make music doesn't necessarily mean the kind with notes.....
Never mind.
Find a scale you want to work out of, find a good bass line, then melody, then harmony. That was hard.

Force wind out of your lungs and over your vocal chords.
Mine sounds like "REAERRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUU."

Crusty, do you get alot of fangirls by doing that? ;)
...otherwise, I think I'd be your only fan. Hope you put out a record soon, k?
...you might want to be specific for what instrument, as each instrument has different techniques to approach it in creating music.
For example, with a guitar, you'd want to know what your main riffs/chords/key is, but with a piano, you need to know theory.
...You don't actually understand music, do you.

Make music like this...
"ny other day we always say the same thing, wanting to be like Yao Ming, or being able to sing. But every day we just sit here, and say the same. Time to do something and crush something and make something happen in your life, make a spark and peel this bark of your old life and start new with this concious you just grew so you knew that you can be that and see that all the top celebritys are in the life that you wanted so badly you almost ended up using your pocket knife...."
Make sense about a simple thing while rhyming. And dont stop, like... "Time to do something and crush something and make something happen in your life, make a spark and peel this bark of your old life and start new with this concious you just grew so you knew that you can be that" It's all about the same thing but is continious and rhymes. All there is too it. And if you havea band or mix beats (LIKE MINE!!!) make the words in tune with the beat. I cant example cause I havent song to my songs yet, so I hope this helps!

If you want to make beats on the computer there's tons of programs and stuff that you can download or buy. If you want to write music first you have to learn the notes and stuff. You really need to be more specific.

ok here, if you cant undrstand that (How can you not??) it's like this....
Rhyme and make sense! When singing, keep your voice and voice tune in-sync with the beat and tune of the music. Simple.

Ill teach your drummer how.. every 1/4th beat hit the drum, like this..
bang,2,3,4 bang,2,3,4
Now add a cymbal to every 3rd
bang,2,*cymbal*,4 bang,2,*cymbal*,4
Now add the bass drum to every 2nd
bang,boom,*cymbal*,4 bang,boom,*cymbal,4
Now on 4 you can add anything you think is cool..

Now it matters what tempo your song is going.. if its 4 notes every bracket then you are in 1/3 if there is 2 your in 1/2 if here is 4 ( this is normal ) your in 1/4..
Bass drumm needs to be fast and drummer extra fast.. the singer can be slow as long as he/she keep within the 1/4 line.. depending on the type of music your playing.. In heavy metal mostly the singer is in the same tune as the drummer while the bass plucks away at the strings repeatedly.
