The world is crumbling before you as it enters it dark ages. Sangard's safety hangs by a thread. The darkness engulfs it slowly as from the ancient temples of Kayderan, a demon beckons. The mysterious Marshall of Light, Prothos Thaeren, has summoned you to the Forest Town of Veragon, in the verdant lands of Paleor. You come, willingly, knowing that Sangard's fate may be up to you...


Well, that pretty much sums it up. Heh heh, you should be able to guess that I'm making this a serious RP, but a bit of humour here and there I wont mind, just not over the top weirdness...

For those of you who are too lazy to enter my site and read about them, here's the selection of classes you can pick and their abilities, this is all freeform, but I don't want the classes to be too diverse, etc. You can make up your own, but I have to check it first, also it has to be balanced and somewhat related to the world... Anyway:

Character Classes:

Durana Sand Warrior: Melee, uses Kayderan blades(one handed weapons with two blades), infravision, can make sand cloaks(if there's sand), can shoot webs

Halbren Rifleman: Long ranged, uses Guns, no special abilities other than marksmanship with projectile weapons(crossbows, etc)

Holidrynian Pearl Watchman: Melee, uses blades, healing magic, auras(let's just say for morale), Infravision(seeing in the dark), apt at medicine even without prior training

Nocvonian Nocven:Melee, uses blades, dark magic, infravision

Paleorian Paleron Knight: Melee, uses blades, holy magic, Infravision

Paleorian Vendraga Druids: Melee, uses blunt weapons(maces, morning stars), elemental magic, shapeshifting, infravision

Paleorian Vendraga Rangers: Melee/Long range, uses blades and bows, infravision

Roddynian Partisan: Melee, uses polearms and axes

Sildairian Dragoon: Melee, uses Halberds, jump extraordinarily high(special attack, think Kain with his jump ability in FF), cold blooded, natural armor(scales)

Varseilan Berserkers: Heavy Melee, uses any melee weapons, extremely strong, can get into a Frenzy(less block rate, more attack power)

More classes will be available later, so the power levels will equalize. The 'weaker' classes get 'experience' and magical artifacts to boost their power, whereas the new guys are just plain tough. When you try to attack someone, you can't say what happens, I finish the attacks and actions.

It shouldn't be like this:
You: "I kick him in the chest and get my boot to go through him, unveiling his heart, which has fallen to the floor."

IT SHOULD BE LIKE THIS:
"I kick him in the chest, getting my other leg ready to kick"
"He grabs your foot and twists it"
"I kick him in the side with my other leg."
"You disembowel him"

ALSO, DO NOT MAKE POSTS THAT DON'T MAKE SENSE LIKE KNOWING SOMEONE'S NAME BEFORE BEING INTRODUCED.


If you don't get it, ask me to explain it more clearly... Anyway, sign up here and I'll start when we get a couple of people. Btw, don't worry, I wont kill off your character regardless of my personal feelings. Unless of course you're going to be an ass and try to god mode and spam and all that crap in which case I will hunt you down like a dog, skin you alive and then burn your limbs then cut them off then throw you in a ditch to die slowly... With some friendly maggots who'll feast off of your carrion meat and a pack of wolves. :twisted: :D Happy roleplaying!

Btw, you also need to make a profile for your character, this is a template:

Age: No Comment.
Gender: male/female
Class: Look at the list above, and choose one. Your description has to match your race.
Equipment: Start with the basic class weapons, then go enhance yourself in the game.
Description: detail prefered
History: detail prefered as well
race: Despite the classes, you can be employed, foriegn and basically other races.

Firstly Dagamer, sorry bout this but no one reads the pages on their respective classes and races(really my fault, so I'm not pissed at you or anything if you're wondering), Durana typically live for only 400-500 years (and even if you were able to live to 1000, you'd just be an old man who can't swing a Kayderan Blade), there is no Durana military as the Durana are just tribes spread out in Duran's vast and collosal burning deserts... I think I'll try and get people to read about the race/class they're going to pick before they make a profile to make it easier...

Hahaha, I like your profile. But as an Halbren Rifleman, can you be in the military? Halren are probably quite civilized. I'll add yours in.

Others, Hand has a great background story line, and probably would not like Dwelf Halfbreeds... Probably like... Paleorian and... Nocven would be almost as strong, but faster! :D

Halbren people suck with out rifles, unless they invent something like the "giant insta-robot wrench."

Well firstly, your class defines your race as I mentioned before, unless you're one of the classes which allow for other races to pick, and there is no Ghoul race. Secondly there really are no other planets, just other realms which are seperated by barriers, some overlap and allow crossing between realms but the only known crossings are of Sangard, Visanc(heaven) and Hell... That's pretty much it... If you need info on some of the classes and races that haven't been set up yet, just pm me.

*cough*If he was halbren, the Sildairians wouldn't have let him in. When I get up the Sildair section up, it'll explain there but I'll explain here. The Dragoon order of Sildair is pretty much strictly only for Sildairians, it's a tradition that Sildairians reaching the age of 20 to enlist as Dragoons, if they make it, their family gets honor, they don't, sucks to them.
