Well, the NFL draft is done for the first day, and if you missed it, you missed a hell of a first round.
You can find a draft table and reports here (http://sports.yahoo.com/s/nfldraft).
The Texans passed up Reggie Bush to get Mario Williams, and gave Bush to the Saints, who will have to deal with their
other great Running Backs, Deuce McAllister and Michael Bennett.
The repercussions of this pick will ring until the trade deadline, when the Saints will have a decision to make.

Discussion:
Are you happy with your team's picks in the early rounds?
Have your needs been met or is your team still stuck with the same problems? Post your thoughts and/or rants here.

As for me, the Rams have addressed some defensive needs at CB and LB and got a good tight end that will actually be used by Scott Linehan.

I suppose I am satisfied, although basically once they get out of the first 15 or so picks I know hardly anyone.
The Giants got Kiwinauka(KIWI!!!) from Boston College and some reciever, and the Patriots got a RB and a WR. But, I'm really interested to see if Marcus Vick will get picked at all.
Bleh, I can't believe I watched untill the Patriots picked in the first round, it was pretty boring.

I am suprised the Texans did not pick Reggie Bush. Bush seemed like the perfect palyer to get the franchise off the ground and start winning games. Not to mention the fact that he would have drawn way more fans to the games than Williams will. Oh well, it's their decision.

The Bengals had already filled their holes during free agency, so the draft was just gravy. We picked the best playr left- we got a blazing fast corner.

Hmm.... We got a guy named AJ Hawk, who might not be bad. We also turned down the the stupidest deal of the century...Yep thats about it...

I = Fan of the Bills
Therefore, I = Pissed.

We passed up Leinart, Cutler and Bunkly for some S that I can't remember what his name was.

I think the Arizona Cardinals will be a team to watch next year. After drafting Matt Leinhart and getting Edgerrin James from the Colts in the offseason, they might just give Seattle a run for their money in the division.

The Arizona Cardinals always look good before the season starts,
then they go down in flames. There are constantly scouting reports here
in St. Louis that say "Watch out for the Cardinals!!".
If this is like any other year, the Cardinals will dissapoint again.

And hey, what's with leaving the Rams out of the NFC West? We all know what a threat they are.

down to the colts.... now another rb wasnt my pick... i think joseph addai will be able to cover it with his speed but the colts defence is weak. They need to get some good LBs and a better line.

I watched the 4 rounds of the draft and stopped. The packers got A.J Hawk which is awsome since I'm a Packers fan. The broncos had a bad draft though. They didn't get Joe Clofpenstein(I don't know if I spelled that right.)(i'm also a Bronco fan.)
