Yeah, $1 looks attractive, doesn't it? But consider that most people who use IE are net-novices, and will be equally unwilling to click something which appears to 'solve all their problems', let alone download anything they have been ushered into doing. Most people are paranoid about spyware now, so if you bombard them with Firefox stuff they will likely ignore it.

Well IE will probably still prevale. Many people still dont know about firefox even though it is rapidly growing. The first internet browser around was netscape but that internet browser costs money. Until smart one Bill Gates invented windows and he made an internet browser that came with computer for free so that wiped out about every internet browser around. IE will last unfourtunatly becuase it comes with microsoft comuters and most people arent going to screw around to get a different internet browser. I have nothing against firefox, in fact, i love it, as you can tell in my avy and in my sig. But IE will stand.

That's because 99% of America doesn't know how to spell Firefox. Seeing as America probably cosists of more illegal aliens who don't speak a word of english then actual people who know at least the language. Soon at least.

Hey, Microsoft isn't done for yet!

Knowing them they will come up with something like, "msn messenger with surf-now! surf the web at incredibly slow rates with uber crashing!".

Or something like that...

The only web browser that is possibly better then firefox is Safari (Mac web browser, think thats the name) There's a way to mod it onto windows or linux I'm pretty sure, but it would take too much effort for me to bother with.

mattz1010
04-30-2006, 02:37 AM
There's alot you don't bother with. Like the rules, for example.

...This is also called Firefox going way too ****ing far in an advertising 'campaign'. It's more like 'taking over the world'.

Hence the logo.

IE has so many useless toolbars so if you have aim and msn and more, you will barley get to see what is under all the toolbars.

I think 'killing internet explorer' is quite big.

In terms of the internet, of course.

Antitrust lawsuit, most likely.

And one smart Bill Gates didn't get to where he was without stealing mounds of things and rigging the IBM OS bid.

A shoe heel to the face kickback?

From the dictionary:
a return of a part of a sum received often because of confidential agreement or coercion.

Woolfenstien
04-30-2006, 12:42 PM
We had no agreement.

Plus, I don't get the money made.

Could I get some adivce, atleast?

Would I be able to use it on a freewebs account?

Woolfenstien

No. Freewebs don't allow you advertising on a free account.

Firefox doesnt have me completely hooked as its capabilities are still limited. For example I went to an another website to enter their forums and had no luck logging on while on Firefox and I got on IE and was able to. Firefox maybe faster but its still new and not as good as IE.

Woolfenstien

It's capabilties are way greater than IE's. http://addons.mozilla.org
It's also safer if, unlike mattz, your browsing skills aint worth ####.

FireFox is also incredibly safer, and thus ignoramus friendly.
