Do you think that there should be better ways to earn Xcash?

I think if the message has a meaning and a good point then it should get more Xcash. :!: And if you start a popular good topic then you should get some Xcash for every 10 messages or something like that.

I like that Idea, but I don't post in the battlegrounds that often anymore. (People just won't let you kill them) Anyways I was thinking last night, that maybe we should all start out with like 1000 xcash, and there should be like a stock market and a bank and a shop. And we can invest it anyway we want. If people run out thats their own fault and maybe some rich people will look out for these bums and donate them some. I like that idea.

i think there should be a vote system, if a person starts a good topic or is nice to someone, they can make a postive vote for him and he gets Xcash for it, kinda like the warning system but in a good way, to prevent cheating you could only vote once for a user and you couldnt vote for your self.

I agree there could be some sort of vote system, or something along those lines. The way it is set up right now, you have people posting messages that have no relevance or meaning just to get 1 XCash into their pocket. (I won't mention names, but I've only been here 4 days and I can name about 5 abusers of this idea).

I don't know enough about the Battleground Forum to have an input.

Maybe there could be a way to start out with a base amount (like 500 as mentioned in a previous post) and you get more every day that you make a post, not every TIME that you make a post. That might cut out on the need for people to post messages for no reason and eliminate the one-word posts.

Base it something like this:

If you have been here for 0 - 10 days, you get 10 XCash each day you post.
If you have been here for 11 - 20 days, you get 12 XCash each day you post.
If you have been here for 21 - 30 days, you get 15 XCash each day you post.
If you have been here for 31 - 45 days, you get 20 XCash each day you post.
If you have been here for 46 - 60 days, you get 25 XCash each day you post.
If you have been here for 61 - 90 days, you get 35 XCash each day you post.
If you have been here for 91 - 145 days, you get 45 XCash each day you post.
If you have been here for 146 - 180 days, you get 60 XCash each day you post.

Each day you post it counts as an active day on the board. If you fail to post one day, you are not penalized, but it does not count as an "active" day of posting.

Just my idea for some cash.... :D

Not only would you be flowing with XCash, you would be rewarded for being a loyal member of this forum.

That's the whole idea behind my suggestion: rewarding loyal members without them having to post 100 useless messages a day to earn 100 XCash. And I am in no way saying that the messages are useless. But we all have seen the posts that have no meaning and are there just to get 1 more XCash into the pocket.

I like John's idea, I'm also presuming that you only get Xcash per day. I like that idea very much as it eliminates teh ridiculous amounts of xcash people will make if they keep talking in the battlegrouds or word association thread. It's not spam, but there could be some who would abuse that.

But shouldn't the people who are loyal to this site have a lot of XCash? Wouldn't you rather reward the loyal ones then have someone who spams all of the time (again, no names mentioned but you KNOW who you are) wind up with lots of XCash for saying nothing of importance?

Combine Nick's idea with my idea and this could happen:

When you first join you get 150 XCash. That way you have some to begin with, and you can at least play the lottery for 15 days. :lol:

If you have been here for 0 - 10 days, you get 1 XCash each day you post.
If you have been here for 11 - 20 days, you get 2 XCash each day you post.
If you have been here for 21 - 30 days, you get 5 XCash each day you post.
If you have been here for 31 - 45 days, you get 8 XCash each day you post.

I think that spam would be reduced significantly if it was the xcash per day system. They would have no benefit from posting an absurd amount other than if they REALLY like it for some ungodly reason. PLUS this way we can all enjoy a nice helping of xcash :D. And to compensate you *could* just jack up the prices and make them a bit more expensive.

The expression is used when someone says something about another person, and the original person is guilty of the same thing. For example, if Player 1 calls Player 2 a spammer, and Player 1 is a spammer as well, then that's an example of the pot calling the kettle black (because the pot is black too).
