its a simple 50-50 grind all you do is ride on the grayish line on the curb straight down or up or side ways and it looks like hes doing a 50-50 grind :)

Actually it does work, but you have to be on the right spot, otherwise it looks like he is on the sidewalk or street. :o

That's 'cause all that's really happening is that you're riding your skateboard along the portion of the map when the sidewalk and street meet. To some people, apparently, this looks like grinding.
