Almost every year in the NCAA tournament, there is at least one 12 seed to upset a 5 seed. The one I'm looking at now is Texas Tech (12) vs. Syracuse (5). Syracuse has been on fire lately, but they will cool down eventually. Plus, TT is coached by Bob Knight, and I feel any team he is in charge of has the chance to go deep into the tourny.

Syracuse plays Texas A+M actually.

Damn my tiny-print bracket... Regardless, I think Syracuse is a weak 5 seed. They better watch out.

Well, in the first 5-12 matchup, the number 12 seed Montana beat Nevada. This is the 17th time in the last 18 years that it has happened at least once.

A bunch of people had them in the FF in my pool. Kinda dissapointed. Would've helped me a lot, considering my picks have sucked so far.

Damn. What an eventful first day. And it's not even over yet! A bunch of almost upset,s but only one. That makes me sad. Especially since I had Oklahoma going to the 3rd round.

Welp, my bracket is dead! Cya!

GW, Gonzaga and even LSU had people worrying for a while. I wanted Iona to win that game.
