The apperance of the house on the actual map will not change if you buy the bigger appartment. If you go into it, the interior will look different, but that's the only difference you'll see.

Another possibility is if you've fully used up your time. Go sleep and then try it again.

i agree woth pwner on this one youve probably used all your time for the day. go home, sleep, and try again with the cash on hand, not in bank. also if you have that much money go get an alarm clock(if you havent already) and caffine pills and you can stay awake all day long! yay!

I bought the mansion as the first thing. When you buy real estate, you automatically purchase all property below it, so I saved 75 grand. ...What exactly does the Penthouse Suite look like? It, for some odd reason, makes me think it's a literal pigsty or something... Penthouse... I dunno, but I always shunned it.

Was never much for caffeine pills. They were just another thing to spend money on, and took more time to buy anyway.
