Save or earn? There's only one way to save, which is through the bank, and a penny saved is a penny earned.
Many people claim to get rich off the stock market. I either never had the patience or the luck involved, so I just stuck with working for $1800 a day.
Assuming the bank rate stays around 1%, get $100,000 in there and you'll make a grand a day. $500,000 and you don't even need to become President. Oh, that's another one, if you're President or Dictator then you get five grand per night (or so I've heard, never really got that far).

the best i'd say is stocks because you buy 999999999 I thinks that's the limit for 1 dollar so that costs you 999999999$. then the stocks go up above 10 and sometimes go to twenty seeing how anyways that's alot of money and anyways stocks are my fav.

On topic, now that you've put all the options up as a poll, it brings to question, define best. If by best you mean the most moral, working and banking. If you just want the money and are indifferent to any moral values, cheating's the way to go.
Some of you (at least one person) said selling commodities was good. Uh, no. Max your Charm at 999, Strength at 250, get past the 10% inevitable mug chance, have 50 grams on you, and you still only get $7500 to $10,000 (net gain). $150-$250 per gram. That's with Charisma *maxed*. Dude, just work a few days and blackjack it. Start at 1800, say... 1800, 3600, 7200, 14400, 28000, 56000, 112k, 224k, 448k, 896k, 1.8mil, 3.6mil, 7.2mil, 14.3mil, 28.7mil, 57.3mil, 1.1bil, 2.3bil, 4.6bil, 9.2bil... yeah. Personally, I've never blackjacked it, but whatever.

Oh, and no, I have not gotten to President/Dictator, as I bought the Mansion, and didn't want to sit there doing the exact same thing over and over again just to get 250k, and then I'd have to beef my stats, and it's all pretty pointless.

If you barfight enough times, the rewards become quite large, and you can make plenty of money. The downside is it takes a while to build up the strength, and barfighting that many times may seem boring to people.

Only problem with Barfighting is that the opponents gain in strength faster than you. The formula for their HP is BarFight*5+random(Barfight*5), where Barfight is how many times you've been in a fight, including the current fight. So after you Barfight 100 times, their HP will be between 500 and 1000... and so on.

this is why the middle class is called "middle class". key to earning money: STOCK MARKET. i went from $10000 earned from being ceo to over two million dollars in about 15 days. fastest and easiest way. you dont even have to leave the house. buy as many as you can when one is a $1, and then wait until it gets up to $3 or $4 then sell. keep doing this and make a ton of money.

The Stock Market is the best method. Just invest all your money in a stock when its low and it easily doubles, doubling your investment in the process. Quick cash from the casino only usually works if you cheat and selling crack or working takes simply too long.

I tried Stocking once, but it didn't work for me. Over a period of about 50 days I got a net gain of about $5,000, starting with $1,000.

Stocks are a good way to earn ca$h, because you don't have to keep reloading the page but gambling is quicker.

Blackjack gets rid of the 270 days to get castle by CFO which is seriously boring if you know how boring 100 days or 200 days is.. Blackjack also gets rid of the 20 dollar classes because of the tv though meaning your not using math alot.
