I was playing srpg1 and it keeps occuring to me that when ever i walk there's a series of numbers that show up on the lower left hand bottom of the screen (If i remember correctly) I was wondering why are they there?

The more frames per second (fps) you have, or the higher your frame rate, the smoother the game appears.

is there like a maxframe rate?

Yes.

The framerate actually affects the game speed as well, it's not variable time.

I'm guessing the frame rate is, at maximum, 30-35 frames. I'v purchased many game-recording and movie-created programs, and the maximum FPS they'v had was 45. However, this caused the movie/recording to purge all of the resources from 28.8K computers until they crashed. Seeing as how Stick RPG has reletively no lag, and that it's published by a free-publishing company leads me to believe the maximum FPS is 35. I doubt it's that much, however.
