I was in Honors Math. My grade dropped to an F, so they put me in the "X" level class (Slooow Class).
I got an A.. then they moved me back to "C" level.. (average) Which is where i was in the first place! ](*,) TFW!?

Woot! I'm a Tumbleweed! ^ ^

Freshman year in my school we only had the option of honors math (some random electives too) so I took honors math and an honors eletive, every other year I took honors math (3 years honors, 1 AP) and science (two years honors, 1 AP), two years of honors programming (one honors on AP) and a year of honors statistics (AP).

I'm in Acelerated English (whatever that means). I'm going to be dropped though, because I won't be able to get a B+ for my year average. It'll probably be a B (If I had any other teacher though, it would be an A; my teacher is an idiot that doesn't know what she's doing).

I'm trying to get into honors Science, and Math.

Physics schedule:
Group Theory and Quantum Mec
Quantum Field Theory
Nonlinear Dynamics
Quantitative Electrophysiological systems
Business law

Nope... no honors here

Guess my favorite class!

Once again, for those of you who value intellectual appearance over reality... most of my friends (who actually have survived this school) did not get a 1600 on their SAT's and have a 4.0 in Highschool. If you think, or feel like you are a stupid person I just want you to know that you are one step above the norm. At least you realize that in the grand scheme of things one person cannot know everything, but you can still be very successful in life... with or without honors classes.

I'm guessing you're no longer in school, based on your courses. But what in god's name is business law doing in there? o.O

Something tells me that the american school system is clearly too easy if so many people are in honors. Or they name them honors classes just to make the kids feel like they're smart...

Yeah, the american education system is easier than alot of other countries. Where I live(Canada) we don't call it "honours". Here is the system where I live(from highest to lowest).

Gifted(You're really smart)
Academic(You're average)
Applied(You suck)
Essentials(You really suck)

I'm in academic everything except math, I'm in gifted that.

Hah! You have a class called "mixing"? What exactly is so difficult about mixing that makes it college class worthy? :p

It's more just a fluid mechanics class.

And mixing is a very comlicated topic that is grossly oversimplifid by most people.
