I just went through 2 paintball guns, neither of which worked, and both of which were Spyder sonix pro. I love paintball, but I have bad luck with guns. For anyone who paintballs or knows a good gun, let me know. BUT: I don't want a Spyder, and it has to be under $150.

You are never, ever, EVER, going to find a gun worth buying for under 150 (retail of course, if your lucky ebay might have one). If I were you I would just save up 50-150 more dollars.

Autococker. Any auto one that isn't a Trracer, Stingray, or PGP.

Your probably never going to find a gun good enough that wont break under $150 by the way i really dont reccomend spiders they jam easy. Try tippmen. But the best gun is angels or evil omens but their like $1000.

Ok you have several options in your price range. The best is probably a Tippman 98 Custom. I forget what it runs now, but its under 150. Its a great starting gun. Very reliable, easy to mantain, and effective. It is your basic semi CO2 powered marker but there is a wide range of upgrades available for it.
My other pick would be Autococker's Trilogy Line. They are cocker's so they are more complex than the normal gun requiring timing and what not.(Look it up). Autococker is a very reliable brand but the Trilogy line is not very upradeable.
Summary: I highly recomend the Tippy 98 Custom. It will last forever, and you can upgrade it as much as you desire. Also what do you intend to play(woodsball or speedball???)

No, spend $10 dollars more and get a Tippman Pro/Carbine if you want the Tippman reliability. The Carbine is way better than the 98.
If you wait, get a SmartParts Ion. Best sub $300 dollar gun out there. Seriously. I've shot it and an Angel G7, and the SmartParts perfoms up there with it. Not that close, though.

That is exactly what I was thinking about in my 1st post. (By the way, Tippman 98's run at 200 now).
As a matter of a fact, I still own a Tippman 98 custom, and use it all the time. Of course, I have gotten a few upgrades on it.
