Well I decided to start scripting again, as stated in a earlier topic, So im going to make a small... not to mention pointless game to get back on track.
I'm going to post questions in this topic so i don't have to make a new topic everytime.
Heres the latest version

I just added, some walking animations & boundaries
Yes I know the guy who is following has to fast of a walking animation for his speed, Ill fix that later. Right now im working on making it so the guy doesnt trip out when he gets on the same axis as you. :D shouldn't take to long.
Cool, I've seen you're work before, Its quite cool.
I've been having trouble with alot of experiments of different methods on hitTesting boundaries,
if you could help me out on it, I would help you out on your game.

I still can't figure out why the red dude trips out when he gets on an equal axis with me char :( lol.
Im bored right now, I'm gonna look for old flash on my comp, ill post if i find any so you can play something lol.
Try something like,
if (_root.red._x == _root.blue._x && _root.red._y == _root.blue._y){
//the code that would lower the follow speed to follow the circle
}else{
//the code that you use to follow.
}

well..Im suposing he have a normal speed, and he moves toward the green dude axis with that speed..
if thats the case, then what hapends is that, usually, the green dude isnt on the exact same axis of the red guy..so the red uy moves toward it, but it moves the number of his speed, and that cuses him to pass the green dude..so he have to go back..then forward..then back..the forward...and well..you got the idea..
what you must do to correct it, is to move the red guy only the diference between him and the green dude when the diference is smaller than his speed..
O_O, arkhan, can you tell me how to make an MC follow another MC?

I never thought about that arkhan, but your probably right. I'll try to change it 7th block, thanks! :)... I have video annual first so... no flash. Plus we use old computers that wouldn't even be able to handle flash.
