*Rubs brain*
It was over all of WW2.
The matching was just disastrous for me, "Diet" was one of the words in it. What the heck DIET!? There was one that said "literally means lightening war", it was unbelievably hard.
Bah, I hate history. It's my worst subject, it won't help us out in real life it's just memorizing a bunch of useless facts you'll no doubtedly forget during the summer.

blitzkrieg = lightning war
as for diet, without knowing what the options were i can't tell what was the answer.
You definitely right about the memorizing stuff, but if you can keep a basic recollection about what was happening around the world at a given time period its quite impressive in discussion and helps in the analysis of books if your english teachers are into that type of thing.
EDIT: I guess its like any subject. Memorizing = bad. Its getting a feel for how the world works, how it changes, and what drives it that really counts. Now will that ever be the focus of an underclassman high school history class? I don't think so. But, at least in my school, seniors get to take good courses, like ethics, phsycology, leadership, and propaganda techniques.

I hate history as much as you guys do. However learning the from past helps us pre-pair for our future. I think of life as one big "trial and error" for the lives ahead of us. Kind of like how old people are smart because they have knollege and experience to make a good judgement that they base off of they're past experiences. I hate history but I still think it's verry important.

I hate history. Its so easy to just stop taking notes in the middle of a lecture and think what is the point, who cares about the past.
