Hes gone!!!(The NY Jets coach) Im so excited about this! He will be replaced by Eric Mangini. Thats good, we need some new young blood in the coaching staff.

Wait. You are a jets fan and you are happy that they lost a legendary coach, Herm Edwards, and happy that they signed a longtime linebacker coach, Eric Mangini?
Meanwhile, the Patriots look for a replacemnt for Mangini...

Herm Edwards is not a legendary coach. Jets have no Superbowl with him and a losing record with him. I would rather go for a new, young coach than with him.

Remember, just because someone is a legend doesn't mean they're any good.

alright, maybe i overreacted on the legendary part...
but really, pennington is always hurt, and he did lead them to a 42-0 playoff victory.

Yea, Penningtons done. They should make a package deal with John Abraham, Chad Pennington, and Curtis Martin. Yes, Martin. I think he is to old(only 34but..) he is injured, and we have good backups. We need a new QB. Like the USC QB(whats his name)

no pennington isn't done, one year ago martin was the leading rusher in the NFL, and Abraham's good
yes, you do have a good backup for Martin, but still..

Herm Edwards is overated due to his openess with the media. Since many coaches refuse to talk to them openly, they don't CALL them great coaches.

The media has partially perpetuated the "legend" of Herm.
