I was curious about how far you can push the 15-day game
Started with 38 Intelligence, borrowed enough money to get to 250 as fast as possible, with caffeine and the alarm clock and spent 6 days earning money as CEO. The first one and a half went to paying off my debt :oops:
Final score: STR & Charm = 0 Int=250
Bank = 11380 (although I had 11779 when I went to bed!)

Side-note: it is possible to borrow more than $1000 by paying off negative amounts each day.

How did you start with a 38 intelligence. I thought that ten was the highest you could start with.

Yes. I'm 31. Unlimited is boring - there's no challenge to getting ridiculous amounts of money.

As for the starting values, all that matters is the total of the 4 - you have 4 values that can be rolled from 1-10, resulting in a total of 4-40. You can then set any of the 3 values to anything you like 0->total points I rolled 10 Str, 10 Charm, 9 Int and 9 extra points for a total of 38. I since discovered this would have been just as quick with 36-40 Int to start with (you waste up to 2 time ticks because the smallest work unit is 3 time-ticks).

As for the study regime, several full days' study will cost you $200 up front for the alarm clock and then $285 per day - $240 for the study and $45 for the caffeine pills. You will gain 24 Int in the process.

I should qualify that last statement.
I'm not interested in making ridiculous amounts of money in SRPG because it gets very repetative very quickly.
There are a number of things to do, with enough time it's possible to do all of them.
The challenge (and therefore the interesting part) for me is to acheive things with limited resources.
The only resource that is effectively limited in this game is time. Take away that limit and for me you take away the puller.

igor: you got it. 2000 clicks the first time, only to lose the hand (Can you imagine being dealt 16 on a million-dollar blackjack hand? That happened to me the first time :shock: ).
I then had two options - play a 2-million-dollar blackjack hand (4000 clicks) or start the game again and play another million dollar hand (2000 clicks). I chose the latter but I could have achieved the same thing without restarting ... it just would have taken an exponential number of clicks if I'd lost a couple more times.
Fortunately the dealer bust on the second hand I played :)

Oh. And you're quite welcome to call me n00b. I've only posted a few times & I'll probably move on before I get any other title. Insults only have an effect if the target cares about the name that's applied 8)
