Help with a game code

HI guys! A friend of my asked me to make a game and i accepted. But now i have a problem. He wants that, everytime i press <SPACE> a man will appear and i don't know how to make it because i dont know where to put the code. Other problem is that everytime a man appears, fire will be seen in the gun and the man will die. I need to use something like this:

if (_root.man = true;
gun.fire = true;


but i don't even know what to do with all these problems!!

P.S - You may think that the buttons wont work but they do. The dynamic text isn't placed in the bext place.

what the heck is this? Your main menu is cr@p and you go to the game and it's all 3d! Plus, you can't read anything! They font is too crazy!

The font is easiy to read...gosh...you must not be very smart if you cant figure out that a o with a line through it isn't a o.

I know it's an o, smart one! It's to where the font is hard to read. You can just speed read it it takes time!

Ah guys...I didn't made the text or printscreened that pics..that was my friend...i am just using AS so he can get a game...

GUYS!!! let's see if you understand!! The only thing that is working are the buttons!!nothing more!. And that is because i don't know the code and were to use, so that any time i press <SPACE> a mad appears and the guns shoots!!! and i also need to put some fire on the weapon every time she shoots!!

PPL PLZ!!! see if you understand!! the game IS NOT READY! i have some doubts and maybe ill change the game, so my friend will change the help text. THEN i will upload it when its ready. The link you see on my 1st post is the link of the .swf with ONLY "start" "help" - "go back" buttons, nothing more!
