Is there some sort of way to cure a PSP from the trojan? Besides modifying the code for the trojan itself?

That might not work, considering the PSP has no boot disk.

Besides that, I'm unaware of any way to make your fancy brick something else.

My PSP did not get it. (Thank god)
The good news is that the trojan only goes for PSP version 2.0. I have 2.6

Crud! I need to charge and update my psp. I still have the realease version!
I need the new one for Socom FTB probably. Is it auto or is there a link you could give me?

I tried modifying the code (yes, I have the code for it), making the "remove" parts say "restore"

Don't worry, only 2.0 firmware is vurnible (sp?) to it, 1.5 can't get it.

but, if you really want to upgrade your PSP...

1. you must have at least 90% battery life
2. your memory stick duo must have at least 18 MB of data
3. you must be near a wireless router (E.G, linksys)
4. go to network settings in the settings column
5. scan for an access point
6. when you get an access point, go to network update
The PSP will tell you the rest.

There is no core for a bricked psp right now.

he can just put it on his memory stick or get it off a newer released game.



Did you hear about the crack for v2.01 -2.6?
