Contest to create the forum battlegrounds

I post this contest in the forum battleground club and I figured that I should post it in the arts forum as well.

Okay time for another contest. In this contest you must create a map of our beloved battleground. But it's not that easy there are specifications. The specifications are as follows:

There is one white dome on the east side, one black dome on the west side. Each dome is surrounded by Guard towers and Camps of the Armies there. There is a rather big lake in the center of the map. South of the lake is a forest, one that is easy to get lost in. North is a chain of mountains that head from east to west, and north of the mountains is a desert. Never mind the impossibilities of it.

That is just basic crap. Add smaller forests, little hills, valleys, and other stuff.

The prize will be 400 Xcash, and the contest will end on Sunday January 25, 2004.

sweet! But a forest? Must be a little conserved place. anyway, it'll make tings easier for me.

It could be a petrefied(SP) forest or a fake forest.

I want to do something on terragen but im having trouble thinking of how to put things like ther domes in it. ne ideas?

I scrapped the terragen idea in favor of flash drawing. i think it looks good if a little cartoony

thanks, and yes taht is flash. it was one frame so i exported it as a gif animation. sorry about the size tho. didn't think it would be so big :oops:

I dont have my map anymore because the contest was over when I was done. so I deleted it.

It was pretty much the same ting. there was an island on the late though. and the dome and towers looked a little different. But my dome thing sucked. trog_dor's is much better than mine.
