Are we? Think about it. If us humans ever evolve into a post human state why wouldn't we run simulations on pre-whateverwebecome[s]. If we are there is know way to tell. Am I the only one who thinks this way?

Does it matter? I'm happy the way my life is, or is simulated, so it doesn't matter to me.
And anyways, if our life was simulated, people wouldn't make movies on sim lives because the people who control the sim wouldn't program someone to leak their secret.

No I think of this all the time but I cant prove it. I mean our reality can be me just dreaming of a fantasy of which true reality is far more worse yet I never woken up yet then again none it can be proven.
Damn what I wouldnt give for something new like a zombie atk like in Dawn of the Dead where they run making surviving harder

There's no reason to believe this -- There's nothing supporting the idea, and if it is true, does it really matter? There wouldn't be anything we could do about it.
Because the human mind and the human body is too complex to be understood by humans. Simple as that.

Nothing can really be proven.
Sure, you can use facts, but who says these facts are true.
You can see a river and say that "Water is moving toward the lake". But who says that there actually is a river? You could say, "I can see it, and I can feel it". But is it actually there? You cannot prove that it is.

hm..............heres my thoughts to if we were a simulation:
1: u can think of this like the sims only the people controlling us are really in the year 10000000 and created artificial A.I
2: maybe thats why when ufos apper, people get abducted which is actually them being deleted. ALso maybe the bermuda triangle in a glitch in the world that is too complicated to fix because the only way to fix it would be to redo the whole simulation which too a very long time to make. That people disapper in there,.. sometimes(actually some people made it out of there alive)
3.maybe thats why so many bad things happen in the world, becuase they dont care what happends to us.
just some thoughts i just hought of in like1 min

Or, they do that so people will think that whoever has found out the real 'secret' is insane and/or on drugs.
Like in futurama where they had that lone conspiricy photographer take real pictures, just so no one would believe him

(off topic) this is my most popular thread YAY!
(on topic) it is possible. If someone did figure it out that it was a simultation and became a threat to the sim as a whole, you would think the post humans would be able to "rewind time" in the simulation and correct the problem, i.e. change a value of the algorithm for thought in the simulated human brain and thus change the thoughts of the threat at the moment before the thought of living in a simulation occured. Then said person would have no memory of the alternate reality. Said person would also be able to live through the rest of their life without being "deleted"

i mean we are a sim. If humans ever reach the post human stage they may run "ancestor simulations" with artificial intelligence used to mimic the human brain functions.
