I like Linkin Park. Their music is therapeutic and angry without the whining atmosphere that tends to come from most Staind songs.

I personally thing that Linkin Park is one of the most overrated bands of the past decade. Granted they do, do about 4, no 3 good songs. They were good when they first came out but now its "Linkin park this" "Linkin park that" Im sick of them being filler on radio stations too...Meh...........

I like LP. About half of thier songs r awsome. the rest ehh.. dont like em. I really like 'Breakin the habit'. One of their best songs in my opinion.

What I really hate about them is that they sound awful when they're live.

Agreed, my friend said they were awesome live so I went an saw them they were horrible!! I could be barely understand them and there beats werent even in tune...They are probably the worst live band Ive ever seen....

True, they do suck live. All of their music is spiced with electronic this and that and effects you can't really recreate live. So it ends up sounding like karaoke...

I wouldn't say that overrated. It's not like every thought it was the most amazng thing in the world. It did remind me too much of hybrid theory. Reanimation wasn't a bad idea, and some songs were good, despite what other people may think about remixes. And can you blame people for liking good music? You're telling everyone to not like someone simply because you and a selected few did before they became popular (keyword: pop... *waits for debate*). I heard them on the radio for the first time (or they're video on MTV, i don't remember). I gave up looking for things that not everyone knows simply because it's too nerve-racking to filter out the horrendous stuff.

I liked there first songs like "Crawling" or "One step closer" but now I think that the longer they last, the crappier they get. I'm really more into oldschool like Iced Earth, Metallica, Iron Maiden,Sepultura and so on and so on... well from the nu metal bands I like SOAD,Korn and Slipknotbecause the rest mostly sucks, like 4LYn or Trapt

I exactly know what you mean. There are so many newcomer bands that suck and the good bands become famous or popular :wink: eventually so, who cares. I liked Pennywise 3 years ago (something around that, don't know exactly when) and a guy said that they suck and now that there popular, he likes them :roll:

Their songs have a good point and their not retarded like a lot of bands. They actually graduated from university. That's what I think of them.

Minus the departing Phoenix, the band was joined by lead singer Chester Bennington (b. 20 March 1976, Phoenix, Arizona, USA) and changed their name to Hybrid Theory, but for legal reasons swiftly adopted the Linkin Park moniker.

And yes, I listened to all of Linkin Park's albums.

I have also listened to most of the demos and some other songs when they were called 'Xero.' Songs like 'Stick N Move,' 'Reading My Eyes,' and 'Rhinestone' (which is a 'Crawling' demo.) I have also listened to the song by Chester Bennington that was on Queen of the Damned called 'System.'

I haven't listened to any of their live albums, like live in Texas. Why? Because I don't consider them albums. They're just songs they had in other albums, only they sound different because it was performed live in front of thousands of people.

I also forgot to mention I have listened to the song 'Dedicated,' which was made when the band was called Hybrid Theory. Back then, I was an absolute huge fan of them.

So in conclusion, it's both. Try not to make a total IDIOT out of yourself next time.

Aside from the fact that I'm a huge LP fan myself, I'm sick of smacktards on the internet talking spoons to other people without knowing what the pasta they're talking about. I love Linkin Park, and I have, also, since they were still called Hybrid Theory. I've got a lot of the stuff Chester Bennington did with his earlier band, Grey Daze, and I like it a lot. I've got LP's 3 mainstream albums, and I'm trying to find the HT EP. I've also got a lot of demos, and songs off of the LP underground albums. I love Hybrid Theory, LOVE Reanimation, and LOVE Meteora. Most people, even the ones who like LP, really don't like Reanimation, and I don't get that. Frgt/10 is one of my favourite songs they've done.

LP is one of the few bands that i actually like. i don't know much of their music, but the stuff i did hear is good. my fav. is numb. i mostly just like how their music isn't too heavy or nething like that. and if ne1 disagrees w/ me, then just keep it to urself cus i'm proly not gonna be back for a while agian. so, if u want to flame me then you're just gonna be talking to an invisible user cus i'm not even gonna see your annoying rants about how everyone but you is wrong. if you like them, cool, if not it's not my problem.

I like Linkin Park. Some of there songs are killed by MTV but otherwise there a good band with some good tunes.
