Jpgs cannot move....and you can put it in your sig......
use putfile.com.
This is for the art or Newbs help forum, not for irrelevance.

Flash animations can be converted into .gif format, however, be forewarned, images don't have sound capabilities.

There should be an option under save as in your flash program to make it a gif, or if not, I could probably do it with animation shop, if I could download the flash. Or better yet, contact The Brown Cow.

Contact The Brown Cow, I'm sure he knows how to do it.

First off, are you trying to upload an .fla?

If so, first you have to go to "File", then click on "Publish".
Then upload the .swf file (should be in the same folder as the .fla file.

Second, have you tried imageshack?

Third, i wouldn't convert it to a .gif. Usually animations like that are huge and choppy.

It's simple. Just upload the swf file to putfile, imageshack, or wherever you like.

Then use the vB code for flash in your sig:

height=(no more than 150) width=(no more than 600)

WTF? it just shows some lame ad!

*sigh*

In Flash, pull down the file menu.

Select Publish Settings.
Check the box for animated GIF.
Click publish.

These other folks can help you with the uploading bit.

EDIT: Oh, you have it uploaded as a SWF. That works too.
But notice that the link in your sig is to an HTML file. You need to use the address of the actual file if you want to put it in Flash tags.
A little page source reading shows the location of the SWF: http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/5047/myfirtanimetion8zn.swf

Put that in Flash tags and you're good to go.

EDIT2: Ah, heck. You need all the help you can get. Here's the code you need to put in your sig:
height=150 width=600

Dont use .Gif. Upload it using photobucket.com or imageshack.us then use the Flash Tags. Which is what the others said.

Dang this sounds complicated. You might just want to settle for a different signature.

How is it complicated? You just upload the file, and then use the [flash] tags with the right link.

For goodness sake, he can just copy the code I gave him. He already has the file uploaded, he just seems to be confused and trying to put the HTML imageshack page into the Flash tags.

Bold is not to offend, but to help him if he's skimming. :)

Are you surprized? You shouldn't be. That whole "direct link to image" thing confounds people by the dozens here all the time.

Yeah, but though, they could just follow the steps TBC told them.
