You can always manually open IE

And for me, it will load in firefox only if I disable my firewall while it's loading - you may want to try that.

hahaha! jeez it takes forever to explain disableing your firewall, but i have the time!!!

1.look at the bottom left of your screen by the clock, it will show some icons
2.click the arrow next to them of ther is one to see all of the icons
3.there should be a icon that looks like a computer, right click it
4A.click on the one that says change windows firewall settings. if not then look at 4B
4B.right click and click status, then click properties, then at the selection of tabs at the top, click advanced, then look for the words that says windows firewall settings or sumthin close to it, and next to that it should have a button that says settings, click it
5.there should be 2 choices, on and off, click off and it turns off ur firewall!, click on and it will turn it back on!
6.after you cange it dont forget to press ok, and not exit out of it

3.make sure its classic view because that is easier (if u have no idea wut im talking about then make sure when u click conrol panel a hole bunch of icons are there, of ther are links, click the link that says switch to classic view)
4.double click on network connections
5A.if it is a wireless connection you should double click Wireless Network Connections
5B.if it is connected through a cable, click Local Area Connections
6.click properties towards the bottom
7.click the tab at the top that says advanced
8. there should be words that say Firewall Settings, maybe not, it dosnt matter, then click the button that says settings.
9.there are two choices, on or off, on means the firewall is on, off means the firewall is off. Choose which ever you prefer
*10.make sure you click ok instead of just exiting out.

THERE YOU GO!! my other guide is easier, its two posts back!

Your windows firewall will be off if you have another product, such as Norton internet security or Macafee.

Norton looks like a globe with green lines on one side - just right click and go to 'disable'
