Romeo and Juliet

I am enjoying English right now cause we are studying Romeo and Juliet. Ah what a beautiful play. We are only on Act III though but still. It is just wonderful!! :D

ahh its alright. We had to do this last year. We had to read it as a class, so it took like 2 weeks for us to finish.

its a nice play but basically its a load of tosh. 12 year olds do not fall in love enough with 14 year olds to commit suicide over. or vice versa. i think they had some real issues.

it's not a bad play, mostly cus they both die for stupid reasons. i read that last year, it's and easy A...

A) I think it's just a tearjerker.

B) I did horribly with that, because I didn't read the stories and ended up with three straight D's on quizzes, still got an A- for the marking period...

Romeo and Juliet is such a great story.....untill you have to write essays on it.

I was almost expecting something like "Romeo and Juliet is a great story, until you have to read it..."

But I've just seen it too many times. Everywhere. You can't get around it. It's a "classic". And Shakespear didn't really do me a favor writing it. And Dicaprio didn't do anyone a favor playing Romeo in it :-p

im just doing good in english because i always get 100s on vocabulary tests we might start that play next year. long and boring or just a ok play?
