I just got my report card today, and lets just say Im not gonna be comming back to Xgen when my parents find out my grades.
Most of them were alright I guess. I got "B"s and "C"s, But from out of the blue I saw a dreadful letter. "F" (bum bum bum)!
Can u say "kiss the computer goodbye". because thats exactly what will happen to me when my parents find out. Along with my videogames, most of my TV time, and pretty much the ability to leave the house.
See I got the "F" in my Health class, becasue I was doing a test. Last grading period I turned in all my tests and 1 folder and I got a "B". So I figure if I turn all my tests and no folders I would get either a "C" or a "D". Well turns out I was wrong(duh). Now Im screwed untill the next report card. And it'll come out after Christmas break!
What Im gonna try to do is not show them my report card, and hope they forget. Then after Christmas break, I'll get my new one (and Im gonna turn in every ting I can this time) and hopefully get an "A". I hope this "A" will kind of delute the dreadful "F".

I think he either meant dilute or delete, both make sense.

hmmmm, that's not a bad plan. i'm currenty doing a similar thing with my school photo, even though it doesn't even compare to and F on a report card. my photo looks like a freaking mug shot cus the moron photographer took the picture after he said he was done so my expression went back to being pissed off when he took it cus that guy kept telling me to do a whole bunch of annoying things for the photo. he kept telling me to move my head and straighten out my back even though my head was at nearly a 45 degree angle and my back was arched to opposite way when he said it was fine...STUPID MORON!!!!!!!! I HATE HIM!!!!
anyway, just avoid them as much as possible and don't say anything about school or just about anything at all until it's safe. does your report card come in the mail like mine? if not, then that's good. just keep away from them as much as you can.

LOL! that has go to be a funny photo!
anyway. I dont think my plan will work for too long. In My mom's work she has 2 coworkers that have kids in my school. I know the kids and they are doing pretty well. Their parents will probably brag about them to my mom. Then she'll ask me for my report card. :x Man this is gonna suck! Its all a matter of time before my world ends! well at least till next report card. BUT STILL! I dont think I can go even 2 weeks with out my videogames and computer! ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)
I am SO FREAKIN SCREWED! ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Just tell them now it's better to tell her then to let your parents find out on there own. If you tell the truth they might give you some slack.

HAHHAHHAHAHA, oh um, I'm very sorry, *snicker* to her that. R-too bad
Just be honest. Everyone's entitled to make a mistake or slack off once in a while. Just tell your parents what happened and that you promise to fix it before the next report card. These guys are right, its better to tell them now and get it over with than sneak around and keep worrying about it. :) Good luck! Just remember, parents will cut you slack (most of them anyway) if you show that you're vunerable and feel guilty for your shortcomings. :) Just remember, you're the victim here!! :)

What grade are you in, Shadow? I'm in Grade 9, and all last year, getting C's and D's and such, I told my parents I would shape up, and I did, I'm getting B A A A on my mid-semester report card...

"does your report card come in the mail like mine? if not, then that's good. just keep away from them as much as you can."
Actually, if you check the mail yourself, and it did come, shove it in your pocket or something, and you might blame it on the mail system... my report card has failed to come twice before, so I don't think it's too obvious that way... oh well.

i would check the mail but my parents get to it before i can. plus, my school sends out pre AND post warnings for the report cards in blank envelopes. so i can't tell if those are from the school without opening them, and if their not then i have to make up an excuse of why i opened it... so i don't bother with my grade, i just suck it up. besides, my parents are gullible and i can tell them that the course i took was advanced so it's hard to get and A or B, once i even made up a fake memo for them to sign saying that the computer system messed up and all grades are one grade up than on the report card said, AND THEY BOUGHT IT!!!!!!! but it's harder in highschool cus they use different paper for those types of things, and my mom kinda WORKS for the school system now...
anyway, i feel deeply sorry for you, man. it sucks when parents know others that talk about school. you'll just have to hope that it goes well enough, and remeber to use the sympathy card if you get the right chance...

Well Im in 10th grade.
The report card doesn't come in the mail.
And I dont think I will have much of a choice anyway, she is getting very suspicious about it. But I think I have way around all the punishment I'll get. It might just be reduced.
see in my school, twice a month u have the ption of getting a progress report. The next one will be on Monday. So, I figure if I can hold off till Monday, Ill show her my report card, but then bounce back with my progress report. That way she'll know I'm at least trying to do better.
I just hope this wont effect any Christmas presents. They often reflect on my grades.

you could always of course do somethign other than video games and computers... but why did you refuse to turn in folders? Are you happy with a D?...

well as sdaid this was a test. I just wanted to see if I could get a passing grade with just taking tests and forgetting about the rest. I had no real reason for it, just to see if it was possible with my teacher. My mom will sometimes let a "D" slide as long as in the next report card I get an "A". But an "F"! well, thats a diferent story.

i'm in 10th too, you're lucky to not get all that stuff in the mail. but i go to a magnet school so that's a small difference. but that's a good plan to wait for the midterm, mine comes out next friday and my report card comes this friday. luckily i got all A's and B's so my parents will just say "Ohhhhh, I'm so proud of you." and then go back to watching tv. but if the midterms good then your parents should be satisfied. hey, if your lucky you can show them the midterm and they might just forget about seeing the report card completely. it's a long shot but parents do forget about things easily. also, if you have any brothers or sisters find something to rat on them for and that'll take the blow from you parents away from you.
*and, i hope you're satisfied with the result of your little experiment. now you now to turn in all your work...

Well it saturday and she hasn't found out anything yet. If I can hold off till monday, I should be safe. I have cleverly hidden the report card in within pages of some Japanese book I have. Then I put the book in a drawer in my room. It way in the back and there is a whole bunch of other junk over it. I just hope when monday hits she wont find it.

Shadow, My advice to you is, gather up your courage and show it to them. They will be unable to punish you when you say things like "I took a long time to tell you because I couldn't gather up my courage..."

Jeff, I hope you're just predicting that's what gonna happen, and not speaking from experience...
