I made this topic for people who would want to make suggestions for the game:
But my suggestions are:
Make an optional auto save
More types of bad guys such as:
archers
knights
spearmen
Expand on the Demonlition Building such as:
cannons
gunpowder barrels
Expand on the Wizards, and wizard spells

I think every thing here has been said already many times.

I actually have a few new suggestions for Castle.
1. Change the layout of the score screen.
I think this is the major problem with people understanding the upkeep process. My suggestion is to put the Upkeep amount and countdown first (top of the screen) and flash the number of losses after the Upkeep finishes counting down. Then do the additive amounts (Level and Kill Bonus). This should illustrate that upkeep is subtracted from available points first, and any not paid for are lost. Currently the order implies that points are gained before upkeep is paid.
2. Create new enemy units that cause damage to castle defenders.
Currently all enemy units attack the castle walls. There is no loss of defenders (recruits, mages, archers or craftsman) except through a mistake on the players part (no upkeep). Units which attack the defenders would keep the game from becoming as stagnant at higher levels. My suggestions for these new units would be archers, mages and catapults. Archers would mainly attack archers, but also the other three. Mages would mainly attack mages, but also the other three. Catapults would mainly attack craftsmen, but also the other three. Also, they would have three different ranges, archers short range, mages medium range, catapults long range. Combining effects could allow mages to protect other units from magical attack, or from arrows.
Well, that's my two cents. I played the game for the first time yesterday and was winning handily until I spent all my points for wall upgrades. After finding out about that I've played two more games and show no signs of ever losing them.

I'm not sure if this has been said before, but it would be nice to be able to set certain areas where your archers will or won't shoot, so that even with many archers, it is still possible to convert easily.

I've run into the same problem, but came up with a rather strange solution. I just didn't buy any archers until I had a huge stockpile of recruits converted. I think I bought archers starting at the level where the enemy gets bombers. I bought 350 right off the bat and still don't know how many recruits I've got left.
Up to that point I just saved up points to buy a mana pool and pay upkeep on Mages. After a little while I also got a crafthall (or whatever it's called) and 10 craftsmen to repair any damage that might get through. I was actually still playing the game up to the point I bought archers. After that I just let it run. I figure in a couple of days it will rack up a bunch of levels without me doing anything but clicking OK at level breaks.
Speaking of level breaks, for those of us who are just letting this thing run, how about a check box on the level screen that says, "Screen will advance after 10 seconds". We just get to the end of a level, click that check box and we don't even have to click enter anymore!

That check box thing would be pretty cool, I keep getting tired of having to press 'OK' all the time.
Anyway, on topic, I thought up of a couple of stuff.
1)Instead of them just attacking the main gate, they attack the towers of your defenders, except the craftsmen(unless it's remade to put them up front), and every few hits kills one of your guys.
2) You can train Knights(or swordsmen), or people who grow stronger per kill, that actually go out and kick some ass. You click on converts and they come out, but then the demo guys may not be usable, unless you have some kind of extra button. AND if you send out your demo guys, they kill your Knights. The knight idea is my favourite, because even though they only attack with 4 guys, atleast you can see some proper ass kicking with a huge bloodbath.
3)You can get a cannon at the center of your castle that kills EVERYTHING in the field, but takes a LONG time to reload. OR the cannon immediately blasts every single enemy that'll go in the level and it's auto win. BUT it has a very hefty price. Like, it kills half of your castle bar permanently or something that's equal killing 1000 stick men.
4) You can remove units. Turning them back into converts, or removing them permanently. I find it annoying when I can't convert anything because of my archers.
5) A special unit that's like a samuria or ninja, and what he does is, he goes around the field and kills EVERYTHING but the big guys in his way. But he takes damage when he encounters the big guys, and he has a red bar over him, like the wizard tower has except the wizard tower is blue, and if the bar becomes empty, he dies spectacularly. Like an explosion or he stabs himself in the stomach and spins around, killing every small stick guy in the way.
6) Most importantly, MORE ENEMIES. Heh heh heh... Like enemy knights, then you can have knight to knight combat. Or even flying enemies that damage your defenders directly. And they can have canon weilding people who blast your castle walls from afar. And a battering ram vehicle, not a stick guy carrying a log. Also, a cool thing would be, if you get enemy craftsmen or something, who build walls so your archers can't hit them from X point. Or they attack your castle walls, but neutralize your craftsmen(somehow) so they can't repair.
A bit of a long list, but I think castle needs spicing up. It's fun, but after getting 400 of each guys, it's no longer the same as that castle that had to throw everything to stay alive. Ofcourse I could just start over and not make many converts, but Castle isn't the same to me either way. :( Ah well, Cinderfall may take my mind of castle, or Stick RPG2 or something new.
well i had a save at lvl 28 with like 500 wizards and crafstman and 750 archers (not a good idea) and i had to constantly convert guys to get enuff points to pay for my guys the next round// but my save screwed up and put me back to lvl 17. so i deleteed all my cookies and i'm going to start over and raise it right. but what i usually do is go for the temple by lvl 4 or 3 if i'm lucky then get the mana poool by lvl 8-9 and i'll have lots and lots on converts!!
Also i find that if i eat chocolate chip cookie dough icecream while i play i do much better!

They should make it so that enemies come from ALL sides. Or maybe 3 will be fine. Also, they should after the temple, train priests that can auto-convert the whole field when needed.
the WHOLE feild would be kinda dumb cuz on like lvl 500 (if anyone gets that far...) and there was like 500 or more people on the feild and you just auto convert all of them at one time ... yeah that would be dumb

Hiya folks =)
Great game, gets a lil tiresome after a while but it rocks solid :D
My suggestions :
As everyone says, new units, new enermies and what not...
How about...Priests ? Like AoE. instead of throwing someone into your courtyard, have priests standing on one of your towers (or OUTSIDE and they have a chance to be killed) and let them convert people. The more priests you have, the faster you convert, consider this as an auto convert option :P

lol i have AOM but i can't play it cuz i have a crappy video card... back on topic the priest thing is kool.. they also have that in populus the begining its a good idea but kinda cheap buy i still like that archer idea with the we get to choose where we let them kill stuff and the more archers we have the faster they would kill and the bigger the area would be allowed to be
