Something else I can add to my list of weird events I go to
I am going to a festival in altamont to celebrate one of New Yorks most bountiful (and delicious) crops: The apple.
New York apples are healthy, great tasting, and naturally sodium free. Theres going to be crafts, and theres bound to be tasting. I'm going to go in a few minutes. I'll tell you how it is.

I live in a different state and we have an apple festival, dedicated to taking 2 days off of school and spending all your money on puppets! Oh and the apple production.

It was grear1 I got a bag of cider dougnuts, and some apple spread to putn on basically anything you want. There was some music from a guitar player, and lots of pretty crafts. My mom got a bagel hotplate shes going togive to her friend (It was nearly all judaism, we were probably the only jews there, and she chose the bagels) and there was a ferris wheel that I went on, and I painted a leopard pumpkin, and it was just fun and stuff.

sodium free? sodium is good it helps your nerves transmit messages :p. of course, if you have hypertension or something you might want to watch sodium intake....

I love green apples. *eats green apple*
Yep, New York..
The gentle wind currents from the Jersey shore meets the calm waters of the Hudson River, creating a great environment for growing apples.
yep...

We celebrate apples because they are one of New Yorks main sources of
A. Money and Buisness
B. Food
If it weren't for apples, I can't imagine New Yorks economy. We can't grow bananas or oranges here, the conditions aren't right, but its great for apples.
