I've made my own bong and my own pipe outta plastic bottles, a pen, foil, and scotch tape.

Once I get a job, I'm gonna buy glass bowls and bongs. Although, joints are good for cars cause they look like cigarettes(if you're not a crappy roller..In which case, get some cigs, rip off filter, and fill the remaining part with weed) and they're good when you have flavored papers or extra-wides.

Glass pipes are better in my opinion cause pipes are small and if you know anything about smoking with them, you hold the carb(the hold on the side of the bowl(the part where you put the weed)) and inhale slowly to create suction then let go of the carb and inhale sharply and you get a monster hit...last week i smoked 7 bowls and i packed like 4 of them and the ones i packed were like doubles(twice as much as the bowl should hold) so I was pretty messed up and actually said this:
"Wouldn't it be weird to eat a penguins neck? It'd be all tender and ####"

Bongs are really cool too though...the smoke passes through the water and you get more smoke and wastes less weed. Heres an ascii diagram:

Now the shaft goes into the water then out to above the water level to where the bowl is so when you inhale, the smoke is forced into the water as "smoke bubbles" which pop at the top of the water for you to inhale.

It tastes different and you get more smoke outta less weed(as stated above).
When you're hitting at the end, you pull the bowl out to get air in there so you dont choke.

Well, as you're smoking, it's always lit, unlike things with bowls which go out after a bit. If its always lit then when you're not taking a hit, it smokes and burns away and wastes weed.

If that statement is true, then all amusement parks, television shows, games, movies, stickers, posters, windows, ciggarettes and electricity are bad also. Drugs(I've only tried weed) make you feel really giggly and happy and fun...it feels like riding a rollercoaster times 30. Let's just say it makes you extreamly happy if in the right enviornment. There are such things as "bad trips" which happen with all drugs...even alcohol...where you're rieally sad BUT it never happens with weed and if it ever happens, just change something...where you are...who you're with...the music..the lighting...the tv show...ANYHTING. I listed all those above because you do not need them. Not all drugs are inefficient. Only the crappy ones that people use other things like grass and leaves instead of weed or some other substitute. But if the drugs are real, then they are efficant cause they have efficantly done their only job and that is to get you high.

I've coded most my programs when I was high. Me n my friends would get high and come home...they would play ps2 or watch a movie or something then I'll be like "im bored now and randomly open vb or notpad and start coding and we come up with awesome ideas when we're high.

Whenever I'm high, I'm in control...I'll have the sudden urges to do something stupid but then my controlled self will be like "Thats stupid, lets get away from here before i do anything dumb" and usually end up in my house where it's safe. I've never been harmed when high...

It's no secret that weed is an aphrodesiac and men usually abuse that fact to smoke with girls who've never smoked before and usually have sex with them. Which makes them blame it all on the weed, when in reality it was their fault for smoking with a horndog in the first place, and tell people and they blame weed.

Thats why, when the first time you smoke should be with someone you trust. Like a family member.

Bah cigs sucked, smoked 6 cigs in my life time and hated them. Weed tastes better and gets you high, unlike cigs which do nothing but give you lung/mouth cancer.

Weed is fairly cheap but everything costs money. And you said drugs MAY have bad side effects which depends on the drug. Like weed extreamly slowly rots away your short term memory and studys show that it takes 40 years for a person who smokes 5-7 joints a day for weed to have an effect on their short term memory. They other side effect is the friggin munchies. I've eaten whole bags of cheesy puffs and still been really hungry. Its annoying but since when is eating bad? Unless you're overweight and in that case, eat rice cakes.

Sure, you need some know-how to do it, but it's nothing that a semi-intelligent person can't learn. Do I know how to do half the things you do? Probably not, but then again, do I need to? Knowing a language itseöf is worth jack if you don't know what you can do with it. And I don't have the time to learn how to program a linux driver that works.

And visual basic doesn't count. Visual basic is like "my first computer" from fisher price :-p

Hemp is just another tool. Like any tool, it can be used positively or negatively. People who use it often (personally, I find more than once a month to be too often and I think more than twice a week is far too often for anyone) are harming themselves. They can't see the way it harms them and so they vehemently deny it. But whether or not they see it in themselves, it does. It's no different than any other emotional crutch. It inhibits mental growth and maturation.

But that hardly means that it should be dismissed altogether. I find that if used correctly it relieves stress, loosens the mind and static perceptions, and can open paths to spiritual healing.

It's not for everyone, but it should hardly be looked down upon the way that it is.

God. Haven't you ever seen the Lion King? The circle of life guys. When you smoke weed, it turns into smoke. It's form changes, but it hasn't become unpermanent. Just like food: you eat food, you poop it out, it goes somewhere, turns into soil, apple seeds get sprinkled onto the fertile soil, it grows into an apple tree, and 20 years later you are eating what, in essence, was your poop. :)

Stress is mentally unhealthy. Occasional marijuana use greatly relieves stress for most people.

Saying that marijuana is bad is like saying that a hammer is evil because some people could use it to beat other people to death. It's a tool, and like any tool it can be used positively or negatively. Hate to repeat myself, but some people just refuse to get that.

If you're ever desperate, make a Haymaker. Get a 2 liter bottle, a piece of string, some aluminum foil, and an empty plastic bread bag. Cut the bottom off the bottle and wash it out. Push the bread bag up into the interior of the bottle and securely tape the excess bag all the way around the bottle. Tape or otherwise attach the string to the farthest interior point of the bag. Make a bowl out of the foil and fit it into the neck of the bottle (not too tight!)

It helps to have a friend to light the bowl, but you can hold the contraption between your knees if you're on your own. Apply flame to the plant in the bowl (tobacco or low-THC weed only, of course! :D) and slowly pull the string to pull the bag out from the bottle. This will cause suction, pulling smoke through the bowl and into the bottle/bag. Once the bag is fully extended, remove the foil bowl and replace it with your lips. Suck hard.

Basically, you will get the amount of smoke from a bong hit in twice the speed. When you carb a bong, you can only inhale smoke at the speed that the carb lets it into the chamber. With the Haymaker here, you suck the bag back into the bottle instead of air. Because of this the hit will feel stronger and there will be no excess air in your lungs so they will absorb any THC faster. It will also feel like you're getting hit in the chest with a steamroller, and you'll cough up a lung or two.

You don't need them anyway.
