Hey Xgen. I'm looking for a DJ software that I can use to mix and distort music as well as make some intresting noises and effects. Cost isn't that important for me because well... use your brians and guess why. Um so yeah, if you know of any cool software that would be good for this than post it here. Thanks.

Try: grage(sp?) band. Comes on most macs. Look for it.

Garageband (Mac) and Fruity Loops (Windows) are both good options.

Garage Band is a smaller version od SoundTrack...so you might look into getting Soundtrack for the MAC instead. Like TBC said...FL(Fruity Loops) Studio if you want it for PC.

Fruit Loops? I really hope thats a program and your not kidding.
I don't use macs guys so... Garage Band isn't an option I guess.

No problem. Its a bit tricky to get started with, but its got a lot of tools. The vocoder is a lot of fun to play around with if you have a mic and some patience.
