I would turn my school into an arcadish school thing. It would be mandatory to play games at least 4 hours a day. Games must consists of all Genres. and the exam in the end of the year would be game of Counterstrike. Everyone in class would be in the game and winner gets an A.

I'm with Shadow000.... But the Exams should definately be long LAN party gaming binges. In your Junior years, they'd take it easy on you with 10 hours from 8 pm to whater 8 plus ten is, But in your Senior years, they'll make you do marathon Weekend long LAN parties. The classes would be as follows:

Counterstrike (A mandatory class)

Half Life Mods- Extending from the Counterstrike class, this explores many other Half-Life modifications, such as: DoD, ESF, NS, VS, TS, TFC, DMC, Ricochet, Sven-Coop and others.

ROFL 101- The ways of internet lingo, and how to type as fast as humanly possible, so you don't get telefragged.

Voice Chat ethics- this class teaches you how to effectively talk about your opponent's mother, while still holding Shift and W. Also, in your first year class, you will learn that Karaoke is bad.

Fraganomics 3- This class will help you weild an InstaGib Rifle, as well as learning the best camping spots for a Sharfshutzze.

H4xj00- The knowhow of how to Cheat CD and get away with it. Also, this class will identify the best ways of telling people that you are indeed not a hacksor.

LAN cheating- How to use mirrors to your advantage in the Final Exams. (Not available for 5th year students.)

Starcraft Lag- How to set your Latency right so that you can ovrthrow the Zerg easily.

Game Economics- The study of real life markets of games and the publishers, as well as managing a successful SimCity, RollerCoaster Tycoonery, or Jurassic Park.

Crappy Games- School isn't always fun. You must play through games such as New World Order, Pulse Racer, Disney's Super Shrek Slam, Enter The Matrix, and Every Tetris ripoff. The mid-term for this class will be memorizing the ratings for these games.

HSS, u would get a 4.0 in those classes.

but u forgot something, History.

the history of games someting that must be tought. The begining of Space Invaders, to the simplicity of Pong, and slowly working its way up to the Pacman and Did-Dug era. Arcades and early home consoles(like Atari 2600) must be tought to this forgetting generation of gamers. The begining of Nintendo and its wars with Sega.

History woud bring appreciation for these new games that this generation forgot.

Now that sounds interesting, if you think about it. Add the way it was made and the history of programming languages, and I bet you have a class that quite a few people around the world have.

i once did a 10 page report on the history of video games. sadly it made me sick of games for a little while. oh yeah, i managed to start and end the report with gta3, the best game ever for that time.

anyway, i would gladly blow up my school except for the commons. that's a part of the hallway that is filled with vending machines. i would replace the school with a fireworks factory and force all of the kids into slave labor to make fireworks for me. i'm a pyro and LOVE blowing things up...

don't forget to put the kids who actually want to study in the dungeons, chained up on the wall as you force them to read. of course there would be acceptions like studying programming, computer stuff, or anything good. but be sure to torture those who want to study stuff like government, history, or other horrid stuff like that.

no offense to anyone who likes school, but it's just sick to voluntarily study for government.

Given proper chance and a large enough enough budget, I would demolish my school and relish in the nurning of it's frail fragments which remain.

Then, on it's foundation, I would create the largest LAN Gaming Facility in the USA with at least 150 computers, up-to-date with technology and the latest greatest and classic games on every one...

I know, it's sad that anyone cares enough about politics. I mean, look at your government! You don't need to know ANYTHING about politics. At all. All you need to know is where the closest enemy is and how many missiles can blow up how many civilians. And thats just simple math.

As a serious side-note: Programmers aren't filthy rich. There are exceptions, but the life of a programmer can get quite tedious if you don't find it interesting to sit infront of a computer all day at look at "if"s and "then"s and "while"s and "var" all day. You're better off learning something that can actually get you somewhere (unless of course the ifs and thens and whiles make you all jittery and excited).
