This is kinda copying HSS post in the Drum topic , but, I wanna tell my story of how I got my Bass Guitar.

It was Spring, around the month of March, and I have been wanting a Bass since Autumn. So this is when I beg for one in an assortment of annoying ways.

I do this from mid-March to earlyish-April. HSS another friend (Pat) and I had this idea to start a band. HSS and Pat have practiced maybe 3 songs together and knew them well, so I was falling behind. I already played the keyboard but I wanted to do something else. That someth else was to play Bass.

One day I go to HSS's house to hang out and when i come home my dad wants to talk with me. Away from my mom he says, " I went to Ardens' today and I bought you a Bass, but you can't have it until your birthday." ( not exactly what he said though) My mom found out that I knew eventually.

I agreed with him but days later HSS says " You should bring your Bass to my Birthday party." And I thought, " yes, yes I should."

So I asked my parent if I could and they were ok with it. So around April 10th I played my Bass, whitch I named Donna, for the first time. It was a magical day.

our band is good, we know about 50 songs and we know them well
