I find metal really boring, and pointless - Speed metal I like, because it actual serves its purpose, and rocks, other kinds of metal are just... boring

No. Typical MTV teenagers we are not, for mtv plays no metal. Mtv plays pop. Pop sucks. MTV sucks. Christina Aguilera isn't bad actually. Bad pop is backstreet boys, B3, NSync, and so on and so forth. And what is "good" pop, if I may ask? Explain it to a tipycal MTV teenager, please.

MTV2 has headbangers ball. MTV also did play mudvayne's not falling video when it premiered(sp?) and their Dig video was played on all things rock. MTV used to have Tool's Schism video on regular rotation, and their parabola video was on summer beach house quite often.

sure im ignorant, mtv isnt big in australia, and im not a teenager. why i dont like pop is because pop "artists" or dare i say musicians are fake, they last about a week. metal bands last a lot longer than that, metallica was around for ages.

but being a stupid moron aint a bad thing either, as a matter of fact i embrace stupidity as an escape from reality, the worlds bad enough without having to worry about being smart. and i respect anyones musical tastes... i listen to music because i can connect with it... not because of its genre.

all pop is fake ur right but i like every metal its allll good to me :)
