Not too shabby, not too shabby at all... we should do a duet :lol: if you don't mind my asking, I play bass, but haven't had lessons, therefore have never learned slap and pop properly, and I would appreciate it if you could give me a little explaination, if ya don't mind

theres really nothing to it, i had lessons for just a little while then quit because my teacher was a dick and didnt help at all. teachmebass.com has a good slap tutorial i think, atleast they used to. Basically youll almost always slap the e and a string with your thumb, but you can slap all of them. When you slap you wanna have your fingers straight, but the ends curled so you can pull them under a string to pop it. you will usually pop the d and yes, g string. you slap the strings with the part of your thumb between the tip and first knuckle, and when you pop you just curl your finger under and youll usually pop with just your index finger, unless your doing some fast slapping or some flamenco popping, then youll pop the d with your index and the g with your middle,

i wrote all of test 4. and are you kidding about test 3 because i didnt think it uploaded to the site
