I just told you. Take the movement off the player MC and put it on the map mc

Actually, it's very helpful. There's nothing more to it. If you have code that moves a clip around the screen, it's incredibly easy to make it move the map instead. Just replace the instance name of the character clip with the instance name of the map clip in the code.

SCROLL THE MAP CLIP.

This is not a hard concept. Keep the player movie clip centered on the screen and move the background behind him. The "camera" will stay centered on the player, while the background scrolls. Get it?
