i cant chose red is good close up blue is good but hard to kill things that are really fast... puple hit every thing but kills slow

Purple is the best. Takes on MULTIPLE enemys at a time so you dont have to move around much.

I dont care, as long as you get multiple enemys at once.

Even though it kills bosses slow, it takes out the minions.

well anything with max homing missles kills minions mostly red

Or the 'P' power up. It looks like you're shooting stealth bombers a bit. I use purple the most.

use purple with full missles not homeing those take them out FAST

True. I've begun doing that. The bending laser makes it so you don't even need the homer missiles.

It's awesome.

But if I'm ever stuck with blue I take homers.

I use red and homing, red takes out anything in the front before I can realize what it is and homing takes out enemies that sneak up behind me... always works for me.

red - supposed to be weak but have high range
blue - strong but low range
purple - hybrid

What do you mean by "hybrid"?

Blue has unlimited range.

Hybrid = all together, or joint. So, if homer was right (which he is not) the purple one should get the asteriod belt boss done in ten seconds or less.

It took about 2 minutes to get that level 6 boss done, 5 minutes for level 7 and 10+ for 8.

I use PH (purple+homing). Purple, for one thing, only truly gains power through it's uses- it never really is crud. The other two's starters are miniscule, and I don't have the patience to build up to the "big guns". It knocks out just about everything, the homes take out what it can't get (side sneakers and such [see higher levels]). Since you don't have to dodge about to shoot (swaying a bit gives it the windshield/bug affect), so you can concentrate more when fighting the bosses. Besides, it took me such little time to knock out everything, the extra while on the bosses was nothing since they never hit me (one has to find the uber spot first).

Anywho, I finished it; score of 102. :P

its not really that good I used red max and M/H max but the only prob is that when your shooting over 25 shot a sec you can't really see the shots coming at you
