So like, I've decided to put some muscle on. Aaand lose some of my gut which I got after I quit caring, although I figure most of it's just water anyway. Anyway, that's not the point. The point is, as a few of you might know, that I took a mighty large fall down the stairs and bashed my head in a while back and received a beautiful concussion. I'm still feeling the effects of it even though it's been months. Anyhow, I can't figure out a way in which I can work out my abs without shaking my head up. Can you?

And before a newbie suggests 'em: running - too up-and-down on the noggin, and situps/crunches - obviously out of the question.

Thanks.

You could try cycling. I gibbled my leg a few years ago being hit by a minivan (while biking, but that's not the point). Only in the last year or so have I been able to run, but I was able to ride again the next day. And it does quite a bit for your abs.

Another thing to try would be to hold yourself up on your elbows and toes, and hold that position for a minute or two.

Maybe try a few sqwats. I know your head will go up and down, but you can do them slowly and it shouldn't cause as much trouble.

I think you're referring to planks. If not, try planks.

Eat plenty of things like fish, especially tuna, and eggs.

Den hit a point we neglected. Food. You should stay away from anything overly sweet (like my personality.) Don't get too much calcium either, eat peanuts and almonds even cashews.

You can hold two bars with your hands (holding at waist height) and force your legs up in the air. Try that a couple times.

lay on the ground, and hold a 25 lb'er slightly above your chest while pulling your knees to your chest.
