How do you get infraction points?

No, and no.

Some infractions can expire, but I think the pointworthy ones usually don't go away, although blastedt did get a point removed for being a narc.

I dont think they go away unless you do something special, for example winning the narc awards gave you a prize one of which was -1 infraction point. I would pm justin from the post above to find out if their are anymore ways to reduce your infraction points.

The only points that expire are ones issued under the November Policy, and then they expire before you are unbanned.

Other than certain unique situations (eg, the narc awards), infractions are never removed.

I reported more than one person per day for a year. Meaning I gave about 400 people infractions so I could get one of my own removed.

Strange, I vague remember point removal being a part of a prize for an XGen Doodle competition once.
