So, I've been thinking of taking up parkour, and I was wondering if anyone here has any experience in it?
I'm 5'9", quite light, and somewhat athletic. If I wanted to start this, what exactly would I do?

I've tried, but am not in good enough shape. Find a message board, such as Parkour North America (http://parkournorthamerica.com/), one I used to go to, and ask them. Key things are practice the basics, strengthen everything, and start small, as you can seriously injure yourself. The first thing you need to know is the roll, as it can save your legs if something goes wrong from a fall up to two stories.
I might have to get back into parkour again, I'm in better shape.

Yeah, I know the roll, and a couple of simple techniques. I'd just like to know where to start off, and such.

Ask at Parkour North America. They're really receptive to newbies.

I highly suggest training at a gymnastics place. Find some people in the forum who live in your area, meet up and train. That's what I did.

Unfortunately, Ottawa is a dead city. How good would you say you are at parkour?
