How To Get Replys?

You know how in a thread, when somebody posts a post, you can reply to it? Well, I see a lot of people having back and forth conversations on the topic in the thread.

How do people do that? If somebody replys to you, is there an option where it tells you if somebody did that? Or do people say something, and then just check back to see if anyone replied? Here's an example:

Me:yeah i dont think fks should be alowd
bob:[reply]yeah it should why do you think that?

And I dont answer!

So if there is an option like that can somebody tell me? Thanks.

Click on the Quote button for the post that you want to reply to. It's located at the bottom-right of the post.

Do you mean quoting someone?

All you've got to do is use the handy-dandy quote button, which looks like this:

Just use that to quote someone, and reply to their posts.

And if you want to reply to more than one post in the thread then click the "+ button, for each post you want to reply to, and then click "post reply" on the left, when you've chosen all that you want.

No I don't mean quoting! I new people wouldn't understand. What I mean is, say I say, "free killing should not be allowed." And then somebody quotes me, and then answers. How would I know that they answered me?

Do you just check back on the thread or is there another way?

When you push User CP it'll show the threads that you've posted in during that log in session, and also the threads that have been posted on since your last post. If the thread is bolded in the User CP, then it means someone else has commented in it after you.

But essentially yes, you just have to check back to see if someone has replied.

You're welcome, the control panel is almost exactly what you want. There's just no way to know if someone responded to what YOU said, without going to the thread and checking.

I thought you could subscribe to threads?
It should send an email when someone replys.

You subscribe to a thread every time you post in one. You can get emails.. But also you can just check your user cp..
