OMFG taylor swift won an award for best female music video and then kanye jumped on the stage and was like '' im sorry taylor lemme just say , beyonce had the best video beyonce's is the best'' and jumped off. Kanye lost all my respect and has completely turned into an egomaniacal jerk

You didn't get an exact quote from him. He said one of the best. While it was completely un-needed and very rude I don't think it was that big of a deal. It was pretty entertaining, really. Made it that much more interesting to watch.

I'm mostly watching it cause it's live and I want to see some of the shenanigans that happen that weren't planned. The Kanye thing is an example. Those always end up being a topic of discussion later on in the month.
Other than that I really don't care for it. MTV (and it's fellow music channels) in the last ten years killed music more than anything else. It's shameful they still hold an award show with music being it's focus.

Lady GaGa performs paparazzi. Beautiful as ever :) and it was fun looking at her body :) It was an extremely theatrical peice that is proof that GaGa is one of the best female singers of this time

Well, by that argument, it applies to a lot of bands these days...There's not many that don't use Pro Tools and other editing wizardry to make their vocals.
That being said, I still loathe Cher for the widespread usage of that stupid auto-tune effect.
As someone who was heavily involved in heavy metal music promotions for about 5 years, I will say this - from a music perspective Lady Gaga is an extremely talented artist for her genre. Besides her own work, which is quite catchy, she has written songs for Fergie, the #####cat Dolls, Britney Spears, and New Kids on the Block. It may not be your type of music, however that's pretty impressive for someone who's 23 years old.

well said. The attention ###### from twilight made thier appearance with all those ill kill myself for edward fans :P I guess highschool musical is now completely out of the picture. Beyonce did her hit single, Put a Ring on it. Brilliant coreograghy and loved the unique body movements. Especially the jiggles;]

I think it's a hilarious rumor that she's started more than anything. Go Google Image search her and tell me that she can wear those outfits without something sticking out.
But hey,if it turns out that she is a real-deal hermaphrodite, then good for her for setting new boundaries and showing that you can be successful regardless. The music industry is extremely self-absorbed and I would be willing to bet that if they would've taken a pass on her had this been anywhere remotely true.

Pretty sure the "hotel motel holiday inn" is "Room Service" by Pitbull. Don't ask me how the hell I know that because I haven't even heard the song before. I'm just guessing because of the song title, it seems most likely.

I don't particularly like Lady GaGa, but I thought that performance was brilliant. Yeah, I know. It’s a satanic ritual and she was supposed to be a bride sacrifice to Lucifer and that she he represented Baphomet at the beginning with her mask on. It's crap that people make a big deal about it.
