Why can't i continue my privious game? [Archive]

I have a saved game and had 200000 and a castle and more than 680 "stick points" for intelligence ect. why cant i continue to that game?!?!?!?!

Maybe it's something to do with Cookies/Internet files.
I have heard of this happening before, (not to me) and I'm not sure why.

I think that if you clear your cookies or temp. internet files, it gets erased...
