It's a Beta version right now smart one, this game is so cool and if you don't like it, then don't play it.

MAN... I think Hermit Works should just give up. The Games they have tried to produced has failed. Time and Time again. There team is so lack of confidence and desired ability to produce finnished games that are going to be fun.

They had a really good shot back when they started making Space Trader in 2000. Today its 2008 and the fast pace market for video games is passing them by.

Nobody wants to play a quake remake. They want to play something original and creative. Andd fun. Small deathmatch maps wont cut it.

I remember back when Unreal tournement 1 came out, the small deathmatch maps were fun. But space trader wars dosnt even Come close let alone scratch the surface to even reaching there level of intense combat and level, guns, characters...
They dont even come close.

Right now there best chance of something good, is if they convert there game to sci-fi military style. Thats where its at. Armoured Sci-fi Soldiers. Greater maps designs and strategy.

Infact- if this isnt what they plan on achieving, or Hiring anyone motivated and creative enough, there screwed.

Unless they turn there game into a childs game that you can see in a scholastic crap.

Hmm, I have a feeling you are using IE8, try to switch back to IE7 if you are.

The game's name except for the war part makes no sense whatsoever. Space you are in space. I saw no space there. Traders, you buy/sell stuff with ingame money, like in a rpg. Wars, shoot stuff. Wars is the only one that applies here.

Unreal Tournament 1 is still a good game btw. PS2 ftw on that thing. Wasn't too bad on the computer either.

There are several planets you basically warp to. And there is a space-ship map, But you actaully dont feel like you are in a space ship, more like a industrial complex. The game is in-part not very story driven at all..

A game doesn't need to have stuning visual effects because all they need to be is fun. If you don't like the game, there's a simple solution: don't play it. The developers will find out where they went wrong sooner or later.

Has anyone else ever played Space Trader? It's where this came from, obviously. I won't even pretend to have played this game, but I can say right now, it's nothing like Space Trader, so it's really not worth it to me. I loved Space Trader 'cause you got to ... y'know, trade. And the bounties were great, but were a secondary role, to boost cash revenue. But turning it into a multiplayer flash game seems to go against the very nature of Space Trader, in my opinion. But whatever, the dev's can do as they please.
