I'm big on acoustics. I keep my first guitar in Eb, and my new one in standard for church.

I love to play in Eb, the only problem is, I can't find many bands that use
Eb tuning. I've tried Googling and all, but it doesn't seem to help much. I'm mainly in to Alternative type music, but I'm open to any genre.

Some bands I've already taken tabs of would include bands like:
Dashboard Confessional
Brand New
Staind
AFI

Just misc. bands of that sort. If there is any guitarists out there that could halp me out on this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Anything from Jimi Hendrix - Axis: Bold as Love

Weezer does some flated songs, but you've have to look. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head though.

You can always play the songs in different keys.

Oh, wait. You mean keeping the guitar tuned to Eb? As in the whole thing tuned down half a step, or the thing tuned to open Eb?

He means just tuned down a semi-tone I would assume.

I don't see why it's such a big deal to get songs like that? Just put a capo on if you don't want to tune your guitar up again.

I write my own music with every string tuned down a half step; I prefer it over standard tuning. I usually stick with the capo, but it's just extra work for certain tabs. I'm just really lazy. >.>
