Very low with both of you. For HM it says we share Pink Floyd in common though he has no tracked played from them.

For denacioust we share Coldplay (which I listen to more than he does), Michael Jackson (den has more plays than me on that) and Weezer (about even).

At any rate, none of those 4 artists are high up on my playlist, either.

HungryMonkey: Medium. You got a couple of plays of Neutral Milk Hotel and Modest Mouse. I remember you saying you were an Explosions in the Sky fan.

Denacioust: Super. Which I don't particularily agree with. I think it's just the Tom Waits and Radiohead thing.

evil penguin: Low. Which I also don't agree with. Authority Zero and Green Day are the only things from your library that I listen to semi-regularily. But I generally enjoy the stuff you put on the Rate the Song Above You thread.

Well,Alice we actually have a number of shared artists that aren't actually showing in my Last.fm account, so maybe it picked up on something somehow :P...like Mew, Iron &Wine, Beck, Sigur Ros, Modest Mouse etc.

I can't say I'm that zealous a fan though. I got the Frengers album but they kinda slipped off my radar completely until I saw them on your page!

That meter isn't even accurate. It will say two people have an artist in common but they will only have one song from that artist in common. That, and someone can listen to an artist 1000 times and another person 1 time, possibly to try out the band, and it will say that those two people have a common artist.

Agreed, such as Opeth. I tried listening to a few of their songs and hated them. Haven't listened to them since and it says it's a common band between me and Monkey.

It gives more weight to more plays. If we have a few artist that we both listen to a lot, we will be higher than if he had those same artists and only had a few songs played.

My list is a bit skewed because I used to have an Iced Earth and Powerman 5000 playlist that I left on while away >_>
I'm not resetting that...I have over 100K plays -_-

I tried listening to a few of their songs and hated them
