Ipods are WAY to expensive, its more expensive to get a cd from downloads then to buy it, and its like $500! Plus you got to have an Apple to download.

IPods rule! cuz im using it right now!! lol i got one of the first one, the big heavy 5 gig that cost like 300-400 but its all right cuz i got it for free and it is REALLY durable, i droped it soo many times and it doesnt break its sad that half of ppl in the US thinks just because you have IPods you use mac...

i think that cartoon sums it up. they are stupidly overpriced, give it a year or two and you can get them free in a pack of wheaty flakes.

they are an expensive fad. why oh why would you need to carry 4000 songs around with you? planning on walking around for a decade? :roll:

i agree that 4g is ALOT but the avg. mp3 player doesnt hold enough. they should make a reasonably priced mp3 player that doesnt hold so many songs

you could buy 3-4 reasonable mp3 players for the price of the ipod!
just carry them around with you ;) still cost effective

you dont need a mac. they have windows compatible software. how do you think so many people have them? macs suck. apple knew this so made it pc compatible.

Also: There are CD players that play burned CD's. In the meantime, you'll most likely get one for a fifth (or even a tenth) of the price of this IPod, and you can carry around multiple CD's.
