Will screenshots be able to fly for this type of thing? I'm still a little skeptical.

In serious cases where we have to give instant bans, we wont accept screenshots, however in cases where we give out warnings first, it will be sufficient.

Will a video recording be acceptable in either case ?

Yes ofcourse, even though video proof, takes a lot more time for us to decipher, it is still more accurate than a picture.

Not high enough rank, to be of interest, and screenshots regarding scammers cannot be used as proof, so in this case you are wasting your time regarding that hacker, but still learning valuable info regarding what to do.
