I need help on creating a perfect name for a community. The name must be simple and easy to understand. I have had some ideas, but can't find a corresponding domain. Some of my ideas were;

- The Syndicate
- Synergy
- NetStarz


I really need help. Thanks!

Yeah, but we can't just think of a name if we don't know what it's for. I know it's a community, but what is discussed in it?

BTW, the "everybody has their own forum" age was in 06, you're 3 years late.

This forum is an experiment. I'm trying to get into web development and want to start a community to practice on :)

Well, uhh... the forum is just a boredom buster, where people can go when they're bored and just share lulz.

Was using phpBB, probably going to get the domain from godaddy.

I heard godaddy was crappy by jonanin. So I would reconsider on that one. But anyways I have no good names to give... :(

Yes, but the only available suffix is .org. Which is very unattractive. I'm going for .com or .net

Dev-Studios, i wanted to use that but i didn't want to create a site like this. So you may have it, DevStudios or DevStudios they both sound like a development site. :) What you think?

They do and I think that sounds pretty good. But his forum is going to be a general forum... So I don't think it fits. But that name is actually cool.

Sounds great, but what are we going to develop?

I decided to use a free forum for now until I further my knowledge of web development. It seems pretty confusing and I might take some classes during the summer if soccer schedule isn't too rough.

Sounds awesome, I'd join it. So it would be a Web Development/General site. You have a base, let's see what you can make of it :o

Exactly, first off i am going to need some people interested in jobs. Such as official Designer for the site and atleast 2-3 coders that know html, xml, css and such to make custom site and skin. So if you are interested please PM me for a job and i will give all the information and description about it. So hit me up, it will be an fantastic site.

Don't know how? There both forums. Netstarz = General Forums and XgenStudios = Gaming Company? Unless I'm bad at math.

You don't get my point, they are almost identical.
NetStarz - "Rules and Forum Information - READ BEFORE POSTING"
XGen - "Rules and Forum Information - READ BEFORE POSTING"
NetStarz - "Spammer Land! - Enter at your own peril."
XGen - "Spammer Land! - Enter at your own peril."

And it goes on ...
Not saying its anything that bad, but its very unoriginal, and people that register there will have a feeling they are on XGen.
