I agree, there isn't much difference apart from the new chatbox and no one was even talking there. The most annoying thing was that most people were still in 1.4 so I couldn't even play in my favourite servers yet.

I dunno, it took them about a year or two to update this version and there is barely any difference. What makes you think they'll have something new soon?

There was 'barely any difference' from 1.3 when 1.4 came out :P

Anyway give 'em some time. A lot of people won't go for the new one until bugfixes roll. Otherwise, you could just find some new favorite servers, or get them to update the server's version.
