This is cool and I myself would love to see how the world will continue to change over the years, however if we allow countries from already over populated areas, we will be screwing over the human race even more. So in my opinion, keep it for ourselves (the developed world).

That sounded like a bunch of hocus pocus to me. Healing the cumulative effects of ageing? That's not exactly something you do with a pill. We're talking everything from genetic kill-switches in cells to natural deterioration and permanent damage caused by background radiation. Then you've got age-dependent diseases to deal with, such as alzheimers, osteoporosis, diabetes etc. This guy is essentially proposing a cure for every known age-dependent disease which is about as close to crazy as you can get. At the moment, we don't even know, theoretically, how to prevent, much less cure alzheimers reliably. And an actual therapy is quite another leap.
Should we live that long? Absolutely not. Overpopulation aside, think of the psychological effects. Knowing that your life is virtually unlimited. You don't have to set any more goals, you have no more motivation to live each day to it's fullest. I think a life span like that is one of the unhealthiest things we could do to mankind.

Holy crap. If that's true...that's insane. I think I might go crazy from living that long, though, I mean: it'd be such a culture change from what has been happening for the past century.

Imagine being 200 years old, yet still considered young.

The psychological effects would be too much for anyone, I think. Working an office job for 900 years? Imagine the price hikes that would occur. There's just no way it would work.

I would love to live that long. Would give me time to finish that book I've been writing.

In 20 years, everyone taking that pill will have cancer.
That would be amazing to live that long. It would have bad effects on job openings though. I'm curious about the effects it would have on pregnancies.

If you're right, I'm going to find you in 20 years and shake your hand.
In 20 years, everyone taking that pill will have cancer.
Presumably, we would have the capacity to cure cancer by then.

I won't risk taking pill in such an early age, i will wait until i am like 80 years old or if i live until then, then i will take the risk.

Fail, science is in my mind also. All these chemical reaction ability's are pretty cool. Some actually work and that's pure freaking luck how that guy lived.
Of course everyone will live to 1000. We just need Ron Popeil to invent jars that are able to keep heads alive. In the year 3000, every one of us will be like that.

I've always imagined the only way to see a thousand years is to be delivering pizza new years eve, and fall into a cryogenic freezer. But, even then, they might defrost you.

I wish it was as easy as drinking some water from a pong in the middle of a forest.
I'd like to live for a long time but I'd imagine that we'd still consider life to be short, as our minds would probably speed up each day.

Giving yourself a 1,000 years to live is giving yourself 1,000 years to die a painful death. I kinda look forward to living to be old and dying peacefully.

I doubt that anyone can honestly say they aren't afraid of dying.
Sometimes I think about what it will be like when the universe has expanded to become a cold bleak place and the particles once mqking up my body drift aimlessly through the cosmos while my mind remains intact. And after acquiring all knowledge and understanding every branch of science that there may no longer be a point in my continuing existance. That I might one day will myself to die in the same way that I had willed myself to live over the eons and I enter a darkness more intense than the empty universe.
That scares the crap outta me.

I'm annoyed that I won't get the chance to meet the people who are around after I've croaked. I bet they'd be fun.
